German Brand Award – The prize for successful brand management
Initiated by the design and brand authority of Germany, judged by a top-class panel of experts from brand management and brand science: The German Brand Awardis the award for successful brand management in Germany. It discovers, presents and rewards unique brands and brand makers – and does not only promote the winners, but also their respective industries.
Only companies that have been nominated for the German Brand Award 2018 by the German Brand Institute, its brand scouts and expert committees, can take part in this competition.
More than 1.250 entries have entered the competition this year at the German Brand Award. 51 % of them in the field of “Industry Excellence in Branding” and 49 % in the field of “Excellence in Brand Strategy, Management and Creation”.

The German Design Council is an independent and international institution that helps companies to communicate design and brand skills efficiently, while at the same time, aims to enhance the understanding of design of the broad public.
Aim of the Germany Brand Institute is to strengthen the brand’s importance as a key success factor for companies in the national and international competitive environment. With the German Brand Award, the foundation awards a unique prize for outstanding brand management.
